Definition:

It is calculated to simulate an interest rate that corresponds to the market situation. The assumption is that the risk to invest into company’s equity can be quantified by comparison to respective interest rates in the market. Two types of risk are distinguished: The risk to invest in the stock market (objective risk); The risk to invest in shares of a given company (subjective risk);The objective risk is the difference between a risk-free interest rate (usually the interest rate for a government bond with guaranteed payment of interest and amortisation at the end) and the expected interest yield of the average stock market (price gains and dividends).

Calcolato per simulare il tasso d’interesse che corrisponde alla situazione sul mercato. Il rischio di investire nella stabilità di un’azienda può essere quantificato confrontando i tassi di interesse sul mercato. Esistono due tipi di rischi: il rischio di investire nel mercato azionario (rischio oggettivo); il rischio di investire nelle azioni di una data azienda (rischio soggettivo); il rischio oggettivo rappresenta la differenza tra un tasso d’interesse privo di rischi (generalmente obbligazioni di Stato con pagamento garantito degli interessi e ammortamento finale) e il reddito di interessi previsto del mercato azionario (prezzi e dividendi).
